Cambridge Exam Preparation Weekends

Our objective is to provide the final push for your upcoming exam, to eliminate any doubts about the content, format, to ensure you know exactly what to expect across each of the components.
We are Cambridge Speaking examiners and will test you rigorously on your interaction, listening and fluency skills as appropriate to your level. You will learn how to evaluate your peers, critically and effectively, delivering positive feedback and also lots of self-evaluation.

Please note: The weekends are NOT suitable for students at the beginning of this level. They have been specifically designed for those intending to take the exam within 2 or 3 months. We make the assumption that students have been exposed to most of the relevant vocabulary required, so that we can build and enhance that to ensure success.

General English

To get the most out of these weekends, you should be an intermediate or advanced speaker. Most people have gone through the Spanish education system and know quite a bit of English, but they always tell us they never had the opportunity to actually speak very much. Here you will not stop, but you will feel pretty lost if you haven’t spoken any English for a long while. Therefore, having taken the Level test to ascertain your grammar level, please give us a call and we can have a chat to assess your spoken English level. Two minutes of your time is all we require in order to achieve this.

General English weekends include:
22 total contact hours in a rural setting with qualified, native speakers
4 hours total free time
Reduced groups: maximum of 7 guests per weekend.
Structured activities, incorporating listening and reading at times, with the main focus on speaking.
Practice how to speak naturally, smalltalk, telephone talk, role plays, competitions, mingling over dinner, chilling round the BBQ, dinner table games during traditional English Sunday lunch.
Accommodation at Casa Ravilo
All meals included
