Casa Ravilo lies in the middle of an olive grove, tucked away in Aragón, northern Spain,We live totally off grid. No named road, no postman, no letterbox, no telephone lines, piped gas, electric or water. We run an efficient solar heating system, and draw water from the well by means of an electric pump, solar-powered of course. So we are able to offer hot showers, home-cooked food and water from the tap.
WiFi/Internet is available, and the signal is very good; most mobile phones work in the area. We also have a landline.

Seasons

Summer
During the warmer months, May – October, we take advantage of outdoor living, eating in the garden round the dining table. We have table tennis, boules (petanque), darts and badminton, plus many places to go off, relax and read or sunbathe – under the pine trees on one side or the olive trees on the other. Classes are still given in the Bodega/Dormitory however, as we use the TV and internet, which is based there

Winter
In winter, we pack away the ‘summer furniture’, take down the gazebos, empty the pool and retire indoors. All classes are given in the Bodega/dormitory spending the evenings around the log fires.
Therefore, when choosing dates to reserve a visit, bear in mind, that the winter and summer experiences will be different in that respect.
